Tho Premier arrived from the South this evening, and to morrow morning will visit the Waltham school in connection with the complaints of overcrowding thereat. Later the Premior will receive deputations regarding social questions discussed at recent conferences here, and also one from the Tailoresses’ Union respecting She importation of contract labour.
At the Supremo Court to-day Mr Justice Cooper sentenced Leonard Willis, a youth who had pleaded guilty to four charges of housebreaking and theft,to twelve months’ imprisonment on each charge,the senCenoes to be concurrent.
