THE NEW ZEALAND TEAM COACH, [(Per, Press Association.) Auckland, last night.

The action of tho New Zealand Rugby Union in selecting a coach to accompany the New,Zealand team to England instead of another man as twenty-sixth player has not at all been favorably received in Auckland. The Auckland , Rugby Union, through its management committee, carried a resolution as follows : 11 That the management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union had heard wi.th deep regret that the New Zealand Rugby Union has decided to send a coach with the Now Zealand football team to Great Britain. This committee is emphatically of opinion that such a step is totally unnecessary, and does not warrant the expediture involved. In its opinion the experienced players composing the team are quite capable of coaching themselves. Further, it considers the extra cost would be better expended in sending another player.”
