THE PREMIER.
(Pen Press Association.) Oamaru, yesterday. The Premier left for tbo North to-day. Replying to a deputation interested in dairying, in regard to cheaper freights, he stated that tho Government fully recognised the necessity, and were determined that freights Bhould be more in line with those in Australia The question was under consideration, also tho question of further facilities for shipping to the West of England ports.
