A WOMAN’S SUICIDE.

.’(Per: Press Association.) Anokland, last night. The Coroner held an inquest into the cause of death of Bertha Margaret Forrest, who died in the hospital on the previous evening from the effects of carbolic acid. William Forrest, residing in Dundonald street, stated that the deceased was deaf and dumb and unmarried. Lately she had been in poor health. He could not assign any reason why his sister should take her life. The jury returned a verdict that the Cause of death was carbolic poisoning, selfadministered, while in a depressed state of mind.
