Dr Finch, district health officer, states there are 35 nursing homes in Canterbury health district, 14 of which are known to the Department in this city. Of these 12 have been lioensed or been recommended to be licensed, and two are awaiting the completion of certain alterations and improvements before being recommended to bo licensed.
