i _ Wellington, last night. A meeting of the Diberal electors was
held to-night to select a candidate to contest the Wellington North electorate at the general e lection. The meeting was addressed by the Premier. Mr O. N. Izard, who unsuccessfully contested the recent by-aleotion, was chosen to contest the seat.
