-‘i .GREATEST, .GENERAL THE WORLD HAS KNOWN.; , ’(Per Press Association-)' Wellington, last night. Although the steamer which brought General Booth to Wellington arrived abont 7 o’clock this morning, there was a large muster at the wharf, and ho waa given an enthusiastic welcome. The Mayor and Premier wore present, tho former welcoming the General to the city, and the lqtter welcoming him to the colony. Mr Saddon said they were welcoming the greatest general the world had ever known. No one had come to the colony whoso work was greater than that of the great man who now stood before them. General Booth, replying, said he was humbled by their kindness and consideration.
