RIFLE SHOOTING.
'(To the Editor G-isborne Times.Sir,—ln your report in to-day’s issue of the shooting at Makauri range on Easter Monday it reads as if it was a competition amongst members of the Mounted Rifles, whereas it was a competition open to efficient volunteers of the district. LanceCorporal Breingan is a member of the Gisborne Rifles, and was the winner of both trophies. I trust in fairness to us that you will correct this.—l am, etc., J. V.
