The Biennial .Conference of the Grand Lodge of Good Templars opened here today, some 60 delegates being present, and G.C.T.E.H. Taylor presiding. Tbo delegates were welcomed by tho Mayor, Mr Scrandrett, and grettiogs were received from many lodges, also from the New South Woles and Queensland Grand Lodges and no-license conference in Auckland. The reports showed that there had been an increase of members by 351 in two years. The meeting continues till Friday,
