[(Per Press Association.) Christohurch, last night.
A verdict that deceased hanged herself whilst in an unsound state of mind was returned at tho inquest on Susan Dickenson.
George Oarvill, a widower, about 55 years of ago, whilst returning to Ellesmere last night from Burnham Plains, was thrown from his horse and killed.
G. R. Chick and Henry Broadhead were elected to the Canterbury Conciliation Board by the Employers’ Union. F. J. Bidmead and H. R. Rushbridge wore elected to represent the Workers’ Unions.
