THE INDIAN EARTHQUAKE.
(Per Presa Association.) Wellington, last night. On tho occasion of tho recent oarthquako in India, tho sympathy of His Exoellenoy tho Governor, people, and Government of New Zealand was convoyed to the Viceroy of India, and the following roply has been received from tho Viceroy by Lord Plunket: “ I am mo3t grateful to you, your Ministers, and our foilow-subjeots in New Zealand for their kind message of sympathy in our disaster.”
