Messrs Dalgety and Co, report: On Wednesday last at INuhaka we had an entry of 2000 shoep sad 3000 cattle. The recent rains and Haa&aS. state of the river prevented several Pines coming forward. In Bheep there was a keen demand for al. classes except aged ewes, and the whole entry was cleared at the following -.prices. Good lines of fat and forward wethers made 16s to 16s 6d ; store wethers 15s to 15s 9d ; breeding ewes, 10s and up to 15s ; lor vouDg sheep and hoggets. 7s 6d to 11s Sd. ’ In cattle, station cows made £4 7s ba to £4 15s ; fat cows £5 10s to £6 2s 6d; eighteen months’ heifers £3 ; calves 30s to £2 14s.
