EASTER EXCURSION.
TO TOLAGO BAY.
The Union S.S. Company announce that if sufficient inducement offers the fine passenger steamer Haupiri will run an excursion to Tolago Bay at Easter time. It is proposed to depart at 9 or 10 on Sunday night from Gisborne, and reach Tolago early on Monday morning, and disembark passengers after breakfast at Tolago in ample time for the ceremony of tho opening of the bridge. Passengers will be reembarked about 10 p.m. on the Monday night and landed at Gisborne first thing on Tuesday morning. As the Haupiri has ample accommodation for ladies and gentlemen and married couples, passengers can be assured of a comfortable berth both ways. Fer those who do not desire to spend the day ashore at Tolago, it has been arranged to run into Cook’s Cove with the ebip’s oil launch and boats, which ehould prove an attraction to picnickers. Intending passsngers are requested to apply before the 18th, as should the inducement not be sufficient the steamer will be withdrawn.
