Three strangers had I been hankering in the district during the I I week, and a man who answers the desoripI tion of one of the party hired a horse and I cart in Christchurch on Saturday, and re- j I turned it yesterdoy morning. He was I arrested at 11.30 last night, but none of I | the stolen property was found in his possession. The robbery is supposod to have I been committed by she same gang that [ rifled the Hornby railway station’safo last I wetk. ’ John Hiycs, charged 'with being con- | nected in the Amborley burglary, was I brought before the Magistrate this morning I and remanded until April 18. I
