.(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. For the year ending Maroh 31st, New Zealand shipped to Home markets considerably more butter than for the previous season. Cheese shows a slight falling-off. Tho figures are :—For the year 1904-6 : Butter £1, 600,775, cheese .£179,879. Year 1908-4: Butter £1,416,464,chee5e£206,870. j Butter exported represented 342,7970 wt against.3l4,ll9owl, and cheese 82,6390 wt against 86,5350 wt. I
The exports of meat were as follows : For the year • 1904 6 : Beef £193,365, mutton £1,301,075, lamb £1,079,330. Year 1903-4: Beef £282,979, mutton £1,453,425, lamb £1,082,825.
