Christchurch, last night, Rain delayed a start in th 6 Australia match to-day until 4.30,-when Canterbury again went to the wickets. Tbe innings was quickly closed for 183. Australia was left with 136 runs to get in an hoar, and, mainly owing to a splehffid exhibition of free cricket by Trumper, they put on the runs with one minute to spare, Trumper being not out with a ohanceless 87.
