LONDON WOOL SALES. By Electric Telegraph—Per Press Association —Copyright. London,.Feb 1. At the wool sales the Tohoe clip sold for lOld. Tho wool sales closed firm. Received 9.27 p.m., Feb 2. ' London, Feb 2. The wool sales olessd at about last week’s prices. Compared with the closing prices for November sales medium merinos were unchanged ; faulty and best were a halfpenny cheaper ; fine crossbreds woro unchanged, and low were ten per cout cheaper. Lambs were unchanged. During the sales 143,000 bales were sold, 76,500 being taken for home consumption, Continental buyers taking 6000, and American 4000 ; held over, 5000 bales. ■ The sales included the following clips : Tara 9£d, Raukawa llid, Akitio llfd, Rook wood Is 9gd.
