(Pec Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. At the Addington market, during the wet weather, the attendance was not large and the entries were smaller than usual.

Fat oftttle—lß3 of good quality were yarded, but only a few realised the previous week’s values. Steers mado L 6 15s to LlO ss, heifers L 5 13s 6d to L 7 ss, cows L 3 to L 7 2s 6d, equal to 17s 8d to 21s per lOOlbs; a fow steers of nice quality and weight making 6d more. Fat sheep—The yarding was good in Dumber aud quality. Competition was steady, prices being fairly well maintained. Wethors brought 20s to 2>is 9d, prime heavy owes 18s to 20s, extra to 235, others 15s to 17s 6d, merino wethers 123 9d to 16s •id. About 2000 fat lambs provoked keen competition, realising 15a 6d to 18s 7d, with a few tegs at 21s. Pigs—The entry was small. Porkers were easier and stores in small demand. Baconero brought 35s to 50s, equal from 4d to per pound.
