AIMS AT A STEAMER.
(Per Press Association.) Dunodin, last night. During tho target gun practiob at the Central Battery,Ocean Beach, on Saturday ono of tho guns, instoad of being trained on the target was, owing to tho excitement on the part of the gunner, trained on the steamer Napier, which was towing tho target. A 2001 b shot went unpleasantly near the steamer.
