SCHOOL ATTENDANCE.

Dunedin, last night. The Education Board to-day decided not to hold an examination.for candidates for pupil teachers, so many having been thrown out of work by reduced attendance or reduction to give an adequate salary to a second assistant, and that thcro would be no opportunity o£ employing more than is at present available.
