RICH STRIKE.
REPORT OF GOLD,

The Hampton Plains Syndicate, holding a lease near town, have rnado a rich strike. They are reported to have obtained 4500 z of smelted gold in throo weeks’ work, 180 oz from six dishes, arid 59ozs from one dish of wash. The country® has been pegged for a long distunce in the vioinity.
