COSTLEY HOME ENQUIRY.

Pe>s Press Association. Auckland, last night,

Mossrs R. Beetham and Dr Anderson, of Christchurch, Commissioners appointed to enquire into the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board’s management of the Costley Home for aged poor at Epsom, opened tho enquiry this morning. John Moss, late manager of tho Home, who was dismissed by the Board after an enquiry from which tho press was excluded, opened tho proceedings by calling the members of tho Board as to the circumstances of his dismissal. Tho enquiry will bo resumed to morrow. ENGINEERS’ DISPUTE.

Tho dispute between master engineers and the Auckland branch of the Amalgamated Engineers’ Society has haan referred direct to tho Arbitration Court.^
