The Italian cruiaor Lombardia attempted to land a force at llig. The Mullah’s followers firing volleys prevented the boats effecting a landing.
Tbe cruiser shelled tho enemy. Italian newspapers express the hope that Italy is not taking Great Britain’s place in tho struggle with tho Mullah.
