(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, last night,
At an inquest touching the death of Ernest W. Venn, fireman on tho railways, a verdict was returned that deceased met his death by coming in contact with an overbridge and being kuoeked off a train while in motion, no blame beiDg attachable to anyone. The Cricket Association has engaged the services of Shakloek, the English professional, as a crickot coach. Graham, the well-known Australian, has accepted the position of coach to the Boys’ High School, and leaves Melbourne for Dunedin next week.
