PROOF OF DRUNKENNESS
REQUIRED.
Per Press Association,
Wellington, last night.
At Stratford Bessie Fleming, licensee of the Commercial Hotel, was charged to-day with allowing drunkenness on the premises. The Magistrate held that he could not convict unless there was affirmative and positive proof that accused supplied drink knowing the man was drunk,
