Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, last night. ,Tfie House met at 2.30. In reply to questions, the Minister Btatod there was no intention of setting up a joint committee to consider the status of ' reporters in the parliamentary press galleries ; that the general verdict was that the Consolidated Licensing Bill was a good bill, and mot what the public demanded; that whenever the tariff is revised the question of increasing the duty on boots and shoes will receive the serious consideration of the Government. The House resumed at 7.30. The Gold Duties Bill, Crown Grants Act Amendment Bill, and Products Export Bill passed through committee.
