Per Press Association. Wellington, last night. A deputation from tho Farmers’ Union and National Dairy Association urged the Premier to establish an experimental dairy station, to assist the dairy industry. No site was mentioned. The Premier said the newly-apppointed dairy expert would arrive in the colony shortly, and would probably supply information that would guide the Government as to its action in the matter. He sympathised with tho deputation’s object. The gold exported for September totalled 58,5420 z, valuod at £227,164, against 47,7830 z, valued at £222,466, in the corresponding month of last year. The silver exported last month totalled 67,5530 z, valued at £6950. For tho nine months up to September 30, this year’s export of gold is 401,7160 z, valued at £1,532,135, an increase of 28,8700 z, valued at £98,169, on the corresponding period of last year.
