WRECK OF A STEAMER.
VESSEL STRIKES ROCKS ON A CLEAR, CALM DAY.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Sept. 15. The s.s. Croki struck early in the morning. Tho weather was clear and the -sea calm. The weather has since been unfavorable, and there are little hopes of saving the vessel. Her valuable cargo of produce is washing ashore. The Croki is valued at about £15,000. She was partially insured in the National of New Zealand. The amount has not transpire'd.
