Ashburton, last night. An inquest was held on Saturday regarding the sudden death at Ashburton of Mrs George Tilson, of Ealing. The jury sat four hours and adjourned till the 23rd. The post mortem revbaled a very soft and enlarged liver, and it was resolved to forward to Christchurch portions of tho liver, kidneys, and spleen, and the contents of tho stomach for analysis by the Government Analyst. It is supposed to be a case of accidental phosphorous poisoning through eating rabbit stew.
