(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. The Council met at 2.30. The Counties' Aot Amendment Bill passed through Committee with several amendments. The Council then adjourned till the 27th inst. HOUSE OF, REPRESENTATIVES. .The House met at 2.30. The Speaker ■ announced the result of the poll of members of both Houses on the question whether or not alooholio liquor should continue to be sold in Bellamy’s. The voting was as followsLegislative Council: In favor of sale 34, against 4. House of Representatives: In favor 42, against 27. Mr Guinness added that in consequence of the favorable vote the speakers of both Houses had given authority for the sale of alcoholic liquors within the precincts of Parliament buildings for the term of the present Parliament, and until such time as a poll shall have been taken in the next Parliament, In reply to questions, Ministers stated that Government recognised that the coupon system in trading required regulating, and the matter was under consideration.
