The Minister of Mines visited the Stale mine at Sedilonville, and expressed himself highly gratified with the progress made and the capable hands tit which the new agency had .been entrusted. lie returned to \y- 'port to-night, anil was inter-vic-.'ed by several deputations. one ui which took great excepeiun to the miserable design for the new Courthouse, which they characterised as a disgrace to Ihe town. Tlie Minister leaves at 3 a.in. for Wellington.
