At a meeting of the Council uf the League ol Now Zealand Wheelmen last night it '..'as decided to grant three guineas towards Duo expenses of running a lest race from Tituuru to Christchurch for the purpose of sending unrepresentative to Australia lo represent New Zealand in the Warrnaml'Ool to-Melbuurne road race. A TIiAM WAY BOARD. A meeting of ratepayers of Christchurch, Sydenham, and St. Albans, subdistricts of the '.ramways district, held this evening, passed a motion approving of the Tramway float'd proposals. Much cuthusiasm was ohown m the project.
