BIBLE SOCIETY.
Bv Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. The Revs. H. Waynes and F. M. Macdonald, a deputation from the British and Foreign Bible Society, arrived by the Sierra from San Francisco. They conduct six weeks’ mission in New Zealand and go hence to Australia. The object of their visit is to stimulate the interest in the world-wide celebration of tho Bible Society’s centenary on March 6.
