AUSTRALIAN DROUGHT.
AMERICAN WHEAT,
(Per Press Association), Auckland, last night. Owing to the drought in Australia, California, Oregon, and Washington have sent Australia and South Africa wheat and flour valued at £2, 500,000, orders for which would not otherwise have gone to America. Tho exports to Australia totalled about one million pounds value. To South Africa it was slightly over that amount.
