HON. W. SWANSON PASSED AWAY. Per Press Association. Auckland, last night. The Hon. W. Swanson, M.L.0., died to-night. The Hon. \V. He was elected to the Provincial Council, and subsequently lo Parliament without, opposition. lie was appointed to the Upper douse in ISB3. Mr Swanson, of the Lands Office, Gisborne, is a son and Mrs Bloomfield, of Gisborne, is a daughter of the deceased, nud much sympathy is felt for them in their bereavement.
