Acrasia, who fell early in the Doncaster Handicap Race, was more seriously injured than anticipated. Mr Oxenham states that it will Dot fulfil any more engagements at Randwick Autumn Mooting, and there is a possibility it may never race again. At tho time of the accident Aerasia was first favorite for the Sydnoy Cup. Mr Oxenham will bo a hoavy losor. For the Sydney Cup the Herald tips : Patronage, Bewitcher, or Vocalist, and tho Daily Telegraph selects—Patronage, Patronus, and Streot Arab. SYDNEY CUP, Street Arab 1 Patronage 2 Bowitchor 3 Betting: 9to 4 Patronage, 6to 1 Great Scott, 12 to 1 Street Arab. After holding a handy position during the early part of the journ'ey, Street Arab and Great Scott led into the straight together, Bewitcher and Patronage on their heels. At the distance Street Arab came out, followed by Patronage, and won by two lengths. Time, 3min Sljjsec.
