The Now Zealand and African Steamship Co. has intimated to the Government that the April steamer under the African "team service contract will bo the Norfolk. Tho loading ports are not yet declared by the contractors, and in any case will not be approved by tho Department until the 4th prox., with tho view to giving out ports tho opportunity of participating in the servico by guaranteeing the minimum (300 tons) of cargo.
