Patrick s Day trouble, a writ for libel, claimmg two thousand pounds damages, j-,as been issued by -Mr Crick againstMr T. M. Slattery, formerly a Minister of the Crown. The criticisms complained of ( appeared in an interview with Mr Slaltciy, published in the Catholic Press, m which the action of the Ministry was criticised, making special reference to Mr Crick. .' It is also reported that Mr Crick lias initialed proceedings against the Catholic Press for publishing tho remarks.
