No returns have come from the Beturning Officer for Awarua to-day, and the latest information was that thirteen returns wore yet to come in. All that is known is that tho Moderates had last niffiit a lead of about 17 per cent, over the Prohibitionists, but that included the boroughs of Bluff and Winton, whero tho Moderates polled strong. It is probable that the returns from the country booths yet undisclosed may lessen or annul the majority, and the numbers from only 8 out of 31 booths are yet known, and two of these not officially'
