FATAL ACCIDENT.
(Per Press Association)* Napier, last night,
A fatal accident occurred to-day at a contracting camp at Waipuna, about 30 miles from Napier. During blasting operations a piece of rock struck one of the workmen, John Greenaway, on tho head, rendering him unconscious. The injured man was brought into the Napier Hospital this afternoon. An examination showed that tho .skull was fractured, and Greenaway died at 7.30 this evening. Deceased was about 26 years of age, and unmarried. ■
