By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. Tho crops along both the Bast and Wost Coasts of this island havo boon successfully gathered in. Heavy crops havo been harvested in Manawatu, Bangitikei, ! and Wanganui districts, where three weeks of tino weather waited upon the harvesters. Tho weather in the northern portion of these districts did not break until yesterday, and tho rain which fell yesterday afternoon was welcome, because the crops wero safely harvested, and therein did not come amiss. Farmers in the Bangitikei district state that so heavy was the wheat crops throughout the district that a reasonable average estimate would be 65 bushels per acre. This would indicate a record harvest.
