A young man namod Shepheard, employed in the Woodhaugh paper mills, is now in the hospital as the result, apparently, of an attempt to commit suicido. He was found on the beach with throe revolver bullets in his head, his coat and revolver, with three chambers empty, being fouiiU close at hand. One of the eyes has been totally destroyed. Three bullets have.lodged in tho forehead. Though nono of the bullets have been extracted, it is believed he will recover.
