GISBORNE RIFLES BELT.

At tho Wainui range yeetorday afternoon the shooting competition for the GisborneRifles belt took place. The ranges were 300, 500, and 700 yards, seven shots at each range, and really good shooting resulted. The following were the scores

From tho abovo it will -. be seen that Lanco-Corporal Stewart is the winner of tho belt for the year. His shooting was most consistent at tho three ranges, and he was successful in putting up 1 1 out of a possible 84 (Government scoring).
