Professor Molisch, of Prague, has submitted to the Vionua Acadomy of Scionco a minors’ safety lamp mado of glassware. It has a saltpetre and gelatine lining, which tho Professor states inoculates bacteria, and they soon iucroase until they becorno innumerable, and produce a bluish green light, remaining brilliant for three weeks.
