Dunedin, lust night. Tho second wool salo was bcld to-day, when about 7019 hales wc/o submitted. There was a good attends,nco of buyers, but not quite so many as at tho first sale. In some instances tho salo was bettor than was expected, and. a number of halos, passed at last sale., woro Bold at an advanco of Id and evon i[d all round. However, merinos doclined id to per lb, half bred super .Id, medium unchanged, inferior [d dccliu'e. Crossbred super sold at par to L|d h'.ghor, medium unchungod, inferior declined Jd to Jd. Tho value may ho given as follows ;—Merino, super to llld, medium to good 7:]d to lOd, inferior 6£d to 7jd; half bred, super 9Jd to lOd, medium to good 7ijd to 9d ; crossbred, super Sd to 9d, modium to good 6d to 7}d, inferior 4[d io sid. Prices of all descriptions woro keenly competed for at par to Ad abovo last sales/'' .
