By Telograph—Pross Association. Napior, last night. Prior to the jury being called in tho Moore and Mills’ retrial this morning, tho Crown Prosecutor, acting under instructions of tho Solicitor-Gonoral, entered a nolle prosequi in respect to tho charge of murder against Mills. This prisoner was accordingly removed, and tho hearing of the charge against Mooro was proceeded with.

Later.—The evidence tendered was tho same as at the former trial, except that of Mrs Griffin, of Waipawa, who stated that on the day of tho alleged murder a young woman answering to tho description of tho deceased asked witness the way to Moore’s chemist’s shop, and also the way to tho nearest drapers. Witness did not notice anything strange about tho girl’s appearance, or any signs of sorious illhealth. The hearing of tho case will be resumed to morrow.
