A FULL APOLOGY.

Sponcor, who acted as umpiro in the Cantorbury-England match, has received tho following letter from tho English wicket keeper “ Regarding what took placo at tho cricket match, I am afraid I made some remarks both to you and to the batsman concerning you which I now deeply rogrot, and trust that you will accept my sincerest apologies.—Yours truly, A. D. Whatman.”
