A FALL IN PRICE. (Per Press Association.) Napier, last night. Tho Colonial Consignment and Distributing Co., Ltd., London, cabled to-day : “ Frozen meat market.—There is a further fall in the value of mutton. To day’s quotations are : Mutton, Canterbury sd, Napier, Wellington, and North Island - 41d ; lamb, first quality Old, second quality fid.

Messrs Dalgety and Co. received tho following cable from their London office yesterday: —“ Frozen meat market dull ~ and tendency downward. New Zouland ; frozen beef: Hindquarters 4 Jd, forequarters 3 jd. Queensland : Hindquarters 3jd, forequarters 3d. Now Zealand crossbred frozen mutton sd, Now Zealand crossbred frozen lamb 6d.”
