WEST COASTERS MAKE 111. ENGLISHMEN LOSE SIX WICKETS FOR 47.

By telegraph—Press Association— Greymouth, last night. Tho English cricketers arrived this morning, and were warmly welcomed by a largo crowd and ontertained at dinner. At one o’clock piny commenced, the attendance being about ISOO. Tiie Englishmen won the toss and sent the West Coast team in, and after three hours they were disposed of for 111 runs, Currie 31, Whitehorn 14, O’Donnell 11 being tho principal scorers. The Englishmen opened with Whatman and Thompson, the former being bowled third ball, and Thompson was caught when he had scored 4. Tho other scores were: Fane 6, Taylor 16, Warner 3, Burnup 2, Johnston (not out) 16, total six wickets for 47 runs.
