DARING ROBBERY.

FROM BUSY CENTRE IN DAYLIGHT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. During luncheon hour to-day Solomon Thompson, a young man, broke ono of the largo plate-glass windows of Stewart, Dawson and Co.’s shop, at the cornor of YVillia street and Lambton Quay, and helped himself to a handful of jewellery which was on exhibition. He was soized by passers by, and handed over to a constable. Tho man's action was ono of considerable daring, as tho shop is in the busiest part of the city and whore there are hundreds of peoplo about.
